This one is for all those Universal Orlando Resort fans who live their lives a quarter mile at a time… that being the quarter mile walk from the front of the park to Fast & Furious — Supercharged. Disclaimer: I totally made up that measurement. P.S. to the disclaimer: I looked it up and wasn’t that far off.
This episode is all about fast cars, fun times, and (say it with me…) FAMILY! Check out the episode to hear Kari and I take a dance-filled trip through this attraction based on the action-packed “Fast & Furious” franchise.
Our adrenaline-fueled adventure began as we entered the Fast Family’s garage. The whole queue is a car-lover’s dream, with racks on racks of car parts and souped-up rides that are actually featured in the film series! Keep an eye out for all the details tucked away in the garage, like the tactical gear the crew uses during some of their more extreme international exploits. Also appearing in the queue is Letty’s turbo truck, a nitrous-charged tow truck that plays a big role throughout the attraction.
We had so much fun dancing to the bumping soundtrack in the queue, and it really set us up for the party that was to come. After passing through the garage, we received a couple fun and informative briefings from some of the characters in the film, and then it was time to board the party bus that takes us through the attraction.
I’ll leave you to experience the rest of the ride for yourself, but it’s a wild trip that involves some really cool special effects, more cars, more partying, and an extra explosive finale.
