Universal has some incredible drinks, with plenty of options whether you’re looking for a cocktails or a mocktail. For guests 21 years of age and older, there is a HUGE menu across the resort of delicious mixed drinks, special beers, and fine wines, each served with flair by our friendly bartenders and dreamed up by our world-class beverage team. If you’re more of a fan of the mocktail, we’ve got tangy, sweet, tart, smoky, and creamy refreshments that are equally as delicious and beautifully presented.
For me, if I’m starting my day at the parks and am hoping to include some libations, I grab my valid ID (you’ll need to present this every time you order an alcoholic beverage — one drink per ID per transaction!) and head first to Universal CityWalk. Friends, there are literally so. many. options! You dig tequila? Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food is gonna be your jam. Looking for many different beers to choose from? Head to the bar at NBC Sports Grill and Brew. Want a classy romantic date night with a list of amazing wines? Tickle your tastebuds at VIVO Italian Kitchen!
The flavors don’t stop there! Inside our three theme parks — Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Volcano Bay — there are some scrumptious and unique offerings. Some can’t-miss specialty cocktails: the Ocean Attack at Chez Alcatraz in the San Francisco area of Universal Studios Florida. A sweet treat reminiscent of a bloody shark encounter, this drink is often accompanied by a bit of a performance from your bartender. Order it and see for yourself! I’m also a sucker for an exclusive brew, so make your way to Jurassic Park for the Isla Nublar IPA…peep the amazing tap that features a splashing Mosasaurus! And Volcano Bay is home to the most perfectly simple cocktail that matches the island flora and fauna, the Toasted Coconut Pineapple mixes coconut rum and pineapple juice for a literal a tropical dream.
Let us not forget the eight Universal hotels, each with their own distinctive designs and amazing drinks. My spring is not complete unless I’ve sipped an Italian Negroni cocktail in the plaza at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites offers fruity delicacies like the Endless Summer Lemonade at the Oasis Beach Bar. And you can even have your very own “rum specialist” at Strong Water Tavern at Loews Sapphire Falls! They walk through vintage rums and help you find a favorite.
For our guests under 21, or if you’re in a mocktail mood, I highly suggest taking in the whimsical recipes all over the resort. Why can’t you have your dessert and drink it, too? The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal CityWalk is home to the ultimate creamy, dreamy dessert concoctions.
