Anyone who knows me, knows that some of my favorite attractions are those where I can compete with my friends and family. That’s why I was beyond excited that we were welcoming Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast to Universal Studios Florida. Located on Illumination’s Avenue in Minion Land, this attraction is one of the first you’ll encounter after you walk into the theme park.
During my first time experiencing Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, everyone I was with knew I’d put up a fight to become the greatest villain of all time and join in to cause mass-destruction on this attraction.
We entered the tradeshow floor and I was blown away by how immersive everything is. I felt like I was definitely right in the middle of a villain trade show at Villain-Con. We then entered the Vicious 6 challenge. I grabbed my Eliminator X and paired it with the Official Universal Orlando Resort App by going to the Connected Gameplay section of the app and tapping my phone to the blaster.
We then walked onto our spot on the moving walkway and started causing mayhem! It was so fun to see all our favorite villains, Minions and some fun easter eggs along the way.
Now of course, I wanted to know how to get a higher score, so I called up some of the creators of Illunination’s Villain Con Minion Blast to give us some more tips and tricks to break my score of 339,255 and find even more collectables.
