Just kidding! This isn’t a trap. It’s a brand new Ride Guys episode about one of my personal favorite attractions here at Universal Orlando Resort: Revenge of the Mummy. Check it out!
This attraction holds SUCH a special place in my heart, as it was one of the very first roller coasters I went on in high school.
I had taken a road trip from Miami with my two best friends to Universal Studios Florida and one of the first attractions we headed towards was none other than Revenge of the Mummy. I told them I was afraid of coasters and couldn’t do it. After much convincing that this attraction wasn’t that scary, I took their word for it and hopped right on. Next thing you know I was gripping that lap bar so tight and my head ducked down behind the seat in front of me. It was quite a funny on-ride photo.
Fast forward to 2008 when I officially started working at Universal Orlando Resort and during orientation they let us ride an attraction. I, of course, HAD to ride Revenge of the Mummy. It felt surreal that I was able to ride this attraction whenever I wanted, even though it used to scare the medjai out of me.
Not only does this video feature one of my favorite rides here but we also have a guest appearance from a toy cat. And if you know me, you know I LOOOOVE cats.
This attraction is a high-speed roller-coaster type dark ride with slow moving elements and it’s definitely a MUST-DO if you love coasters, the curse of the mummy and some surprise elements. Now go ahead and watch this video to learn more about Revenge of the Mummy!
