What to Do in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry

On Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, travelers board an omnidirectional lift and journey to the long-awaited trial of Dolores Umbridge. Alongside Harry, Ron and Hermione, you’ll dive into the depths of the Ministry’s departments, uncover mysteries, and ensure that justice is served along the way.
PRO TIP: Even if you don’t want to ride, you can still enjoy this ride’s incredible queue and attraction spaces by entering through the single rider lane!
Cast Spells with Your Interactive Wand

If you have a wand, you can impress your friends and curious strangers all around Place Cachée by using it to interact with talking portraits, magical creatures, and other enchanted objects in shop displays.
Not sure where to start? If you hear a crowd ooh-ing and aah-ing conspicuously, that’s probably an area worth checking out! Plus, you can always inquire with the Place Cachée shopkeepers about their favorite spells.
Don’t become too spellbound, though, because you need to keep an eye out for magical creatures. They’ve wiggled their way into every corner throughout wizarding Paris, so keep an eye on all of the shop windows and other nooks and crannies for an enchanting discovery.
Who to Meet in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Exchange Students
Students from several different wizarding academies roam throughout Place Cachée, from the students of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, to Hogwarts and Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The students often wander the streets of wizarding Paris in groups, and they are exceptionally welcoming to visitors. As students, they tend to be naturally curious, so you may be asked where you study magic or if you’ve seen any magical creatures hiding about. I recommend telling the students all about where you’re travelling from — they love to learn from visitors!
Cosme Acajor
You may encounter renowned French wandmaker Cosme Acajor in her natural habitat, Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique. A master of her craft, she enjoys helping guests find the perfect wand. She’s more glamorous than we’ll ever be which makes this interaction even more special.
Aurors
Be on the lookout for Aurors who roam the streets of Place Cachée asking about suspicious characters seen roaming nearby.
What to Watch in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
Le Cirque Arcanus

As you wander about wizarding Paris, you’ll spot a circus tent that’s practically begging you to discover what’s inside. This is Le Cirque Arcanus, and when I say this is a can’t-miss show in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, I mean it.
Ringmaster Skender has stolen Newt Scamander’s suitcase, containing fantastic beasts from around the world. Gwenlyn, a circus employee, will rescue the creatures in this breathtaking showcase of surprising wonders. You’ll be blown away by the spectacular mix of acrobatics, aerialists and dazzling special effects.
Place Cachée Jazz Band

There’s always something to discover around Place Cachée. My personal favorite experience, and the one I would most highly recommend? The Place Cachée Jazz Band! Seriously, this must-see performance is a spirited spectacle of live music, featuring a world-class band (accompanied by a magical creature) and a magical music box!
Typically found near Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, this performance is joy incarnate. The lively, passionate sounds of the multi-instrument jazz band will mystify you and get you tapping your feet along with the beat. Guests near the front of the audience may be selected to participate in a special song with the band.

What to Eat in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Cafe L’air de la Sirène
Casting spells and discovering never-before-seen creatures, while delightful, can be tiring. That’s why the streets of wizarding Paris house Cafe L’air de la Sirène: a quick-service respite for hungry travelers, serving up sweet and savory dishes intertwined with authentic flavors of Paris.
At this restaurant, you can quench your thirst with world-renowned Bièraubeurre (or, as you might know it, Butterbeer) or a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.
What do you have accompanying your Bièraubeurre beverage? Bièraubeurre food, of course! Order the Bièraubeurre Crêpe for a dreamy combination of shortbread cookie butter Bavarian cream, Butterbeer cream, and topped with fresh strawberries, a Butterbeer drizzle, and a shortbread cookie garnish. It’s a dish sweet tooths like me could only dream of.
If you’re more of a savory fan, though, try the Galette de Tomates et Fromage. It has roasted tomato, soubise, and goat cheese, all baked in a beautifully buttery pastry.
PRO TIP: This is a sit-down café but ordering is done via Mobile Food and Drink Ordering, so be sure to download the Universal Orlando Resort App before visiting.
Le Gobelet Noir

Are you a wizard or witch who lives life a little more on the mysterious side? Then head to Le Gobelet Noir, a small inn that’s fed Dark witches and wizards — and housed their hushed conversations — for centuries.
Bar Moonshine
The walls of the tucked-away Bar Moonshine are a swirl of U.S. Quidditch insignias. American witches and wizards rendezvous at this locally famous bar to enjoy a taste of home.
Bièraubeurre (Butterbeer) Cart

I, too, cannot journey through any corner of the wizarding world without picking up at least one mug of frozen Bièraubeurre (also known as Butterbeer), a sweet drink reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread.
While it’s served all throughout the dining locations in Place Cachée, arguably the most convenient is a centrally located cart right outside of Cafe L’air de la Sirène and near the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry attraction.
