That’s why it’s a great idea to opt for a Universal Express option during visits to Universal Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Volcano Bay.
In this guide, I’ll tell you all you need to know to find the best Express option for you, such as:
- Universal Express is an add-on option at all four theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort that shortens your wait times by allowing you to enter through an Express queue.
- Universal Orlando Resort offers three Express options: Universal Express, an option that allows you to enter once per attraction per day; Universal Express Unlimited, an option that allows you to enter attractions multiple times per day; and Universal Express Now, an option for individual attractions.
- In the theme park, you can access the Express queue by presenting either your physical ticket or digital pass on the Universal Orlando Resort App.

What Is Universal Express?
Universal Express is an add-on to your separate theme park admission that shortens your wait times for attractions at Universal Orlando Resort. If the attraction is a ride, you will enter through a separate and shorter Express queue. If the attraction is a show, you will enter through the Express queue and be allowed into the show earlier.
Universal Express is a great option if you’re short on time but still want to experience everything that Universal Orlando Resort has to offer! With it, you can worry less about factoring in wait times and fit even more fun into your day.
Universal Express
With the standard Universal Express, you can enjoy a shorter wait time once per participating attraction per day by entering the Express queue.

- Universal Volcano Bay
Universal Express Unlimited
Just like Universal Express, with Universal Express Unlimited, you can enjoy a shorter wait at participating attractions by entering through the Universal Express queue. With this option, though, you can experience the same attraction multiple times per day. Revenge of the Mummy marathon, anyone?

With Universal Express Now, you can enjoy a shorter wait time at an individual attraction by picking a specific, available time window to enter the Express queue. This option is only available once you’re inside the theme park on the day of your visit and can be booked through the Universal Orlando Resort App. Universal Express Now is only offered as available, so if you see an attraction that you’d like to book, make sure to snag it!

How Does Universal Express Work?
You can purchase an Express pass by visiting the Universal Orlando Resort website.
Another way to get Universal Express at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure is to stay at select Signature Collection Hotels. At these hotels, access to free Express Unlimited is included with your hotel stay!
I recommend you purchase Universal Express or Universal Express Unlimited before your visit. If you opt for the Universal Express Now option, you will have to wait until you’re inside of the theme park before purchasing.
Once it’s time to ride, it’s easy to use a Universal Express Pass! It works in three easy steps:
- When you arrive at an attraction, locate the Universal Express entrance.
- Scan your pass by presenting either your physical ticket, room key (if included with your hotel stay), or digital pass on the Universal Orlando Resort App.
- You will enter a shorter queue made just for Express guests!
Voila! You’ve successfully used a Universal Express pass. Just remember, if you have any questions, Team Members at the attraction are more than happy to help you!
