Passholder Appreciation Days 2024 | Behind the Exclusive Menu

Universal Orlando Passholders appreciate all that the resort has to offer, whether that is laughing during Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show, indulging in a frozen treat (or two), or experiencing their favorite attraction on repeat. Universal wants to take the opportunity to recognize this love — and send some back — during Passholder Appreciation Days. This year’s exclusive menu items for the event include a plethora of new options and returning favorites!

Passholder Appreciation Days runs from August 15 through September 30, and the limited-time food and drink options are incredible. Just a bite of these exclusive offerings will have you wanting more. So let’s get into it! (WARNING: you will be hungry after reading this.)

NEW – Crispy Bacon Poutine at Mel’s Drive-In

Poutine from Mel's Drive-In

The newly-refreshed Mel’s Drive-In is known for serving up top-tier comfort food. Poutine was a popular option that both myself and fans loved during our recent Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, and the new Crispy Bacon Poutine is an exciting option that aligns with the vibes of Mel’s Drive-In. Crispy chicken tenders atop white cheddar cheese, Applewood bacon, and French fries make for what Chef Ronald Cope hopes to be “a big crowd pleaser amongst the Annual Passholders, as it embodies a new option with familiar flavors.” This dish will also be an easy choice to grab and snack on the go!

NEW – Blackened Salmon Sliders at Confisco Grille

Blackened salmon sliders from Confisco Grille

Chef Ronald describes the Blackened Salmon Sliders at Confisco Grille as a “light, elevated handheld option for our guests”. Paired with the simple yet impactful flavors, this dish is easy in function and delicious in taste! The Cajun coleslaw adds a balance to the salmon in a way that just makes sense within this brioche bun. The size of these sliders make for the perfect midday meal, and adds to the already varied items on the Passholder Appreciation Days menu. This stands out from the other menu options, as it’s on the lighter side, but that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in flavor. Trust me, these will have you making another Confisco Grille reservation immediately.

Sushi Burrito at The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar

A returning star at The Cowfish, the Sushi Burrito is back once again! This dish literally rolls up all of its ingredients into one tasty moment. Taking the burrito style into the sushi realm paired with fresh ingredients is what this venue does best. A stop at The Cowfish will always guarantee you options that are unique, fun and fresh, and the sushi burrito coming back in celebration of our Passholders truly fits on the menu like great white sharks in selfies.

NEW – Cacio E Pepe at Vivo Italian Kitchen

Cacio E Pepe from Vivo Italian Kitchen

UOAPs, please welcome back to the Vivo Italian Kitchen stage: Cacio E Pepe. This Passholder (and fan) favorite has made its return! As Chef Alexis Demoss says, “Cacio E Pepe embodies what Vivo is trying to do here with fresh pasta and ingredients, and very simplistic flavors, but on a really elevated and consistent level.” This was a highly requested item from guests, and featuring it as an option for Passholders during this time is Universal’s way of saying thank you. This light pasta option is a great choice after a long park day and honestly, I will never turn down pasta. According to Chef Alexis, “This is better than what you’ll be making at home, but just as good as your grandma.”

BBQ Brisket Tacos at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville

Brisket tacos from Margaritaville

While there are currently fish tacos on the menu at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, the BBQ Brisket Tacos bring the paradise energy in a different light. The iconic vibes of this venue offer a unique yet familiar experience for guests, and this option definitely fits in perfectly with the other menu options. The green apple slaw and peach BBQ sauce bring in some new, seasonal flavors all while remaining true to the atmosphere. As Chef John Booker puts it, “Annual Passholders who are fans of Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville are going to order this and enjoy an option they were exactly expecting, as it matches the theme and flavors of this venue.”

NEW – Lemon Kiss Doughnut at Voodoo Doughnut

Lemon Kiss Doughnut from Voodoo Doughnut

The sweet tooth in me is hyped for this new addition to the already incredible lineup at Voodoo Doughnut. A lemon jelly doughtnut covered in powdered sugar? Say less. Voodoo Doughnut general manager Christopher Silva notes that this limited time offering “is a citrus creation perfect for those who love a tangy twist. While most of our doughnuts are known for their bold and sweet flavors, this one stands out as a delightful contrast.” One bite into this yeast raised doughnut will have you suddenly wanting to start a lemonade stand; it is that refreshing and packed with flavor!

BONUS – Peach for the Stars & Sneak Peek Punch

A guest holds a Peach for the Stars drink

I personally love a beverage moment, and so will you with these two new options. Peach for the Stars at CityWalk’s Rising Star and Sneak Peek Punch at The Watering Hole will quickly become two new favorites for you. Both alcoholic options offer refreshing flavors from peach purees to pineapple and lime juices. The flavor profiles for these beverages are different, as the Peach for the Stars highlights prosecco and the Sneak Peek Punch features a Rhum J.M. Agicole. Simply refreshing.

And remember: Universal’s chefs are always taking UOAP feedback into consideration when cooking up their new concoctions. So don’t be afraid to highlight your favorites to your servers. Trust, I will always find a way to share my current snack obsession with anyone who will listen.

So get ready, get set, and work up an appetite to experience all of these exciting options during Passholder Appreciation Days!

Must be 21 years and older with valid identification to purchase or drink alcoholic beverages.
