You now know how to navigate crowds and save money on your next Universal Orlando Resort vacation. It’s time to talk rides! Here are some tips on how to go the extra mile when experiencing our world-class attractions.

Vacation Hacks at Universal Orlando Resort

Stay on property to get Early Park Admission

All guests staying at our Universal Orlando Hotels get Early Park Admission, which means access to one theme park and popular attractions an hour before the scheduled opening.

So head over to your favorite rides before the rush. This is a great time to ride again and again to make sure you don’t miss a moment.

Ask if you can have the seat you want

Whether you’re #TeamFrontRow or #TeamBackRow, let the Team Member in charge of on-boarding know and you might get to sit in your preferred location.

Stay on property to get free Universal Express Access

You’re going to want to take advantage of this one. Three of Universal Orlando’s hotels offer free Express access for everyone in your party. Skip the regular lines at all participating rides and attractions and get to the fun faster.

Pay attention to the queues

Waiting in line is no longer about waiting. While queueing for rides, take in all the amazing details around you. Queues like Skull Island: Reign of Kong and Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon contain surprises and entertainment that you won’t want to miss.

Plan to work against the crowds

Starting your day at the back of the park can go a long way. Most guests will enter through the front gates and head to the nearest attraction, so you can do the opposite and reap the benefits.

Take advantage of the single rider line (pending availability)

If you’re looking to save some time, another great option is to use the single rider line. You and your party will be separated while loading into the ride vehicle, but it’s usually a much shorter wait than the regular queue.

Jam out to the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit hidden songs menu

When you first get on the ride, hold down the Rockit logo on the song selection screen for about 10 seconds when you first get on the ride to bring up a number keypad. Enter a 3-digit value to select a hidden track and prepare for a whole new ride experience.

I finally got to experience Harry Potter World (It was amazing! I can’t wait to see it again). I did this from a cruise ship. Because of no guarantees that the ship would dock at Port Canavaral, I didn’t purchase Park tickets ahead of time. Your ticket stands were poorly manned and I had to stand in line for an hour just to purchase tickets. I’m 66 with neuropathy and standing that long was torture and then I had a very long trek to the Potter section. Ride attendants were extremely helpful, as they could tell I was handicapped. If I stay in Park is there a way to rent a Jazzy? I missed some of the attractions because I was in pain.

If you contact Universal direct … go to their website for contact details, they will be very helpful. Sometimes can be a couple of days befoe they get back to you, but most times they will phone and be very sympathetic and I found them a great help on three occasions I needed to make contact.

Hi Philomena! Per the Universal Orlando Website “Guests can rent strollers, wheelchairs, and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs) upon entrance to either theme park, to the left side of each park’s entrance. Manual wheelchairs are also available at the Rotunda area of the parking structure. Due to limited numbers, please note that ECV rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be operated by a single person 18 years of age or older. We suggest you place a request in advance for ECV rentals at least one week prior to your arrival. This can be done by contacting Guest Services at (407) 224-4233.”
Also if you do stay on property you can rent a ECV for your entire stay, which is usually less expensive. Universal Orlando’s approved company is https://walkermobility.com/
