For the Ellisons of Morgantown, West Virginia, connecting as a unit isn’t always straightforward. As a blended family, the Ellison siblings often live under different roofs, so time spent all together is particularly special. Two activities have consistently stood out among the rest as the greatest memory makers: bi-yearly trips to Universal Orlando Resort and virtual video game sessions.
SO when these Mario-loving thrill seekers found out SUPER NINTENDO WORLD was opening at Universal Studios Hollywood, they knew it was way past time for their first visit.
As if experiencing exciting attractions like the World-Famous Studio Tour and Jurassic World – The Ride weren’t enough, the whole crew got to physically step inside the Mushroom Kingdom, just like in Super Mario games played on their Nintendo gaming devices. Between playing Key Challenges in the land, acquiring digital coins on Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, eating Toadstool Cafe creations, and meeting Mario and Luigi themselves, the Ellison kids and parents all bonded like never before.
