One of the first things you’ll learn about the Universal backlot on the World-Famous Studio Tour: it’s (still) a real, working set. Movies, TV shows and commercials shoot at Universal Studios Hollywood on the regular — sometimes even when guests are visiting the lot. Yes, the backlot is always stacked with a slate of incredible sets and attractions. But once in a blue moon, visitors get an extra-special surprise on their tour.
Enter: Oscar Nuñez and Chelsea Frei of Peacock’s “The Paper!”
When Oscar and Chelsea saw the Studio Tour tram roll by, they couldn’t resist the opportunity to hop aboard and lead the tour. Needless to say, these two comedians give a slightly different version of the Studio Tour than you’re probably used to. Check out the video here:
“The Paper” comes from the creators of “The Office.” The mockumentary-style sitcom follows the day-to-day life of a flailing Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it. All episodes of “The Paper” are now streaming on Peacock, and the series premieres on NBC on November 10 at 8:30pm EST/PST.
