It’s a beautiful spring day and you’re strolling the streets of Universal Studios Florida, Bloody Mary in hand (for those over 21 years of age… otherwise let’s call it a refreshing and non-alcoholic Cosmic Mangonada). The International Flavors of Carnaval are at your fingertips and your feet won’t fail you now. It’s Mardi Gras season, everybody!
Perhaps the best time at Universal Orlando Resort for a foodie, this festival delivers mouth-watering dishes of many origins — Cajun, Brazilian, Southeast Asian — year after year. So OF COURSE, we had to tackle it with our resident food connoisseurs, Nadia and Brandy.
I’ll let you in on a little behind-the-scenes secret: While this is the fourth episode of Dine and Ride we’ve published, it was the very first one we filmed all the way back in April 2022 at last year’s event. These two were pros right from the start, and we had such an amazing time taste testing and dancing to the ever-present jazzy beats.
