This September at Universal CityWalk, reality TV is getting real. “The Traitors: New Blood” premieres Thursday, September 17 at 8 p.m. on NBC and next day on Peacock. This season, everyday Americans are invited to play the iconic Emmy-winning game of deception — and now, you’re invited to kick off your escape room adventure with a tasty cocktail (or two)! Starting September 12 during the entire season’s run, it’s taking over the bar areas inside Universal’s Great Movie Escape.

 “The Voice” is turning 30 — 30 seasons, that is! While the season airs, a themed takeover will make itself at home in CityWalk’s Rising Star beginning September 21.

So, what’s in it for you? Aside from movie-themed escape rooms coupled with Scottish Highland bar decor and a chance to work those vocals like it’s your only shot at fame and fortune, each venue will also feature a selection of themed, limited-time specialty beverages that you definitely need to get a sip of!

The Library Beverage Menu

• The Raven
  • A dark, fruity cocktail made with scotch whisky, blackberry whiskey, cassis liqueur, lemon juice, and ginger beer garnished with a blackberry and mint bouquet.
• A Murder in Plain Sight
  • A sweet, sparkling cocktail made with prosecco, hibiscus syrup, and lemon juice with a lemon peel twist garnish.
• The Castle at Midnight
  • A rich, shadowy espresso martini made with vodka, coffee liqueur, chocolate liqueur, espresso, and chocolate bitters garnished with espresso beans.
• The Secret Passage
  • A robust, smooth, smoky oak cocktail made with bourbon, agave syrup, orange bitters, and bourbon barrel-aged aromatic bitters with an expressed orange peel garnish.
• The Shield
  • A fizzy, flavorful mocktail made with apple juice, lemon juice, hibiscus syrup, smoked saline solution, and club soda with a lemon peel garnish.

• The Faithful
  • A bright, elegant cocktail made with gin, blue curaçao, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and club soda with a lemon wheel garnish.
• The New Blood
  • A refreshingly rich cocktail made with cherry rum, dark rum, cassis liqueur, cherry liqueur, lime juice, hibiscus syrup, and barrel-aged spiced cherry bitters garnished with a mint bouquet, dehydrated lime wheel, and dried hibiscus flower.
• The Traitor
  • A smooth yet sharp cocktail made with rye whiskey, a red Italian bitter, lemon juice, grenadine, simple syrup, barrel-aged spiced cherry bitters topped with a cocktail foamer and an expressed orange peel garnish.
• The Dagger
  • A vibrant cocktail made with vodka, green chartreuse liqueur, lime, and lychee syrup topped with a cocktail foamer and garnished with a dehydrated lime wheel.
• The Ally

On top of tantalizing themed beverages and Scottish castle-esque bar decor, Universal’s Great Movie Escape will also feature two authentic costumes worn by “The Traitors: New Blood” host Alan Cumming, making for a unique, can’t-miss photo opportunity that’s yours to partake in starting September 12.

Are you ready to make it big? Step into CityWalk’s Rising Star karaoke club and revel in “The Voice”-inspired decor. This new experience is joined by two, limited-time specialty cocktails that are undoubtedly a must-have starting September 21:

• The Blind Audition
  • A spiced cocktail made with bourbon, lime juice, house-made honey syrup, and lemon-lime soda.
• Chair Turner
  • A bittersweet cocktail made with white tequila, triple sec, lime juice, cranberry juice, and agave syrup.
