This one-of-a-kind fan event will be back at Universal Studios Hollywood for select nights, April 23–May 16, 2026. Universal Fan Fest Nights spotlights sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and anime franchises. But TBH, if you’re a fan of anything — like, a fan fan, a weird-your-friends-and-family-out-by-how-much-you-love-it fan — you absolutely have a home at Universal Fan Fest Nights.

THE BASICS
What is Universal Fan Fest Nights?
Universal Fan Fest Nights (FFN) is an after-hours, separately ticketed event at Universal Studios Hollywood that celebrates all things fandom. The event launched in 2025 with a collection of interactive in-world experiences based on iconic sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and anime franchises. Between immersive walk-through experiences, a one-of-a-kind party on the backlot, beloved character meet-and-greets, fan zones, themed dining and stylish merch, FFN immediately proved it was unlike any other event out there.

When is Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026?
This year’s event will take place on select dates from April 23 to May 16, 2026. Just like last year, all fandoms will be featured at every night of the event, so go on a night that works best for you.
Where can I get tickets for Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026?
Presale tickets are officially available for FFN 2026! There are two types available: General Admission, which applies to one selected date, and the Ultimate Fandom Pass, which gets you General Admission for up to all event nights. No matter which one you choose, purchase a presale ticket and you’ll receive a complimentary limited-edition collectible medallion. You know, just to let people know you’re a real fan.

WHAT’S COMING TO UNIVERSAL FAN FEST NIGHTS 2026
SCOOBY DOO X UNIVERSAL MONSTERS
It’s the ultimate mystery mashup! Become an extra in a movie gone wrong as the iconic Universal Monsters are unleashed on the Universal Studios Backlot. You must join Scooby-Doo & the gang to solve the case and save the shoot. With immersive sets, character encounters, and cinematic chaos, this is one mystery you won’t want to leave unsolved.
ONE PIECE
Set sail for adventure at Universal Fan Fest Nights with the ONE PIECE: Grand Pirate Show! Experience Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew in a high-energy spectacular of battles, stunts, and pyrotechnics. Keep the fun going at the ONE PIECE: Grand Pirate Gathering fan zone with Sanji’s Galley dishes available to purchase, plus photo ops with the crew.
THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER
Venture into the Forbidden Forest and brace for magical mischief. Your evening on the Hogwarts grounds takes an unexpected turn, sending you on a thrilling journey to help rescue a Hippogriff in need. Navigate enchanted paths, encounter magical creatures, and put your spell skills to the test in this immersive walkthrough experience in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
DUNGEONS & DRAGONS
This spring, come celebrate your love for the best of Fantasy at Universal Fan Fest Nights. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS players step into a fully immersive adventure into the depths of Waterdeep. Are you brave enough to come face to face with the evil beholder Xanathar and save the Sword Coast?
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
Jump into the fun as Light blue, Pink, Yellow, and Purple Yoshis descend upon the Mushroom Kingdom for a night of interactive fun and character meet-and-greets. Enjoy a playful, land-wide puzzle – it’s your mission to explore, uncover clues, and solve it in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD during Universal Fan Fest Nights.

Wanna sell some tickets? Then announced Back to the Future will return as big or bigger than last year. Only then will I buy tickets.
Heard about this too late last year to book a flight and attend. Saw the videos for the BTTF thing and started to plan a trip for this year. Now that they aren’t doing BTTF, my family of 6 isn’t going. Who the hell wants to see Scooby Doo? Anyway, boo on Universal.

I know people are sad about back to the future. But they dont have a choice to change it. Due to filming. But I can’t wait for the Scooby-Doo. Its going to be the same set up as back to the future. We’re we walked in into a move set and there a monster causing mayhem and Scooby-Doo and the gang show up to find the person that is causing and the mayhem. Can’t wait to split up multiple times with different cast and solve the mystery. And for dungeons and dragons I hope we get more than last year. I lived the walk through but was also missing other things like meet and great or at least a well theame bar and food area.

Not doing Back to the Future is a big mistake. I can understand not doing it EVERY year, but already leaving it out in Year 2 is a huge disappointment. Look at how many comments share this sentiment. It was the best part of last year, and I’m sure many others like myself booked a trip at very short notice to be there. Have been looking forward ever since to come back and see it again, only to find out it’s already dropped? You guys are the only ones on earth who have THE set…how can you leave it out of the program this soon??
Was ready to book my trip and then saw no Back to the Future…very dissapointing Not interested in this year.
