How to Celebrate Legendary February at Universal CityWalk Hollywood

January 23, 2026
Affogato at VIVO Italian Kitchen.

Here’s my theory of athletics: You’re not actually watching a sporting event unless you’re eating something delicious at the same time. If you agree with me, even just a little bit, you’re going to absolutely love Legendary February at Universal CityWalk Hollywood

What is Legendary February, exactly? It’s the convergence of three iconic sporting events — the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, Super Bowl LX on NBC and Peacock and the NBA All-Star Game — all in one month, and all on NBC and Peacock. Here’s the lineup:

  • Milan Cortina Winter Olympics (February 6-22)
  • Super Bowl LX on NBC and Peacock (February 8)
  • NBA All-Star Weekend (February 13-15)
Key art for Legendary February on NBC and Peacock.

It’s going to be nothing short of legendary. And if you’re a sports fan, there’s no better place to watch than Universal CityWalk Hollywood. Restaurants in the entertainment district are serving up on-theme dishes for each sporting event throughout the month. So lace up — and come hungry!

OLYMPIC OFFERINGS

Award Ceremony Trio of desserts at NBC Sports Grill and Brew.

CityWalk is kicking off the Olympic fun with an Opening Ceremony party on February 6. You can watch the ceremony live at 9 a.m. on the 5 Towers Stage jumbotron, and at NBC Sports Grill and Brew — or you can watch a re-broadcast of the ceremony in the same locations at 5 p.m. Throughout the afternoon, a DJ will be spinning tracks at the 5 Tower Stage.

You can watch the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics at NBC Sports Grill and Brew (both inside and on the outside monitor!) all throughout the event. And if you made it there, you deserve a medal — or three. NBC Sports Grill and Brew is getting in the competitive spirit with the Award Ceremony Trio, a three-item dish cleverly inspired by the medals themselves. There’s a chocolate chunk cookie with vanilla ice cream, representing bronze; a fudge brownie dusted in silver sprinkles for second place; and, taking the cake (as it were) is a New York cheesecake with a golden corn flake brittle.

Limoncello, Tiramisu and Nutella doughnuts at Voodoo Doughnut.

The Milan Cortina Winter Olympics will take place in the Italian Alps — hosted by the cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. So our friends at Voodoo Doughnut are celebrating the Olympiad with three treats inspired by iconic Italian desserts. First, there’s the Tiramisu Doughnut, a raised shell filled with espresso cream and topped with chocolate frosting, cocoa powder, whipped vanilla cream and a chocolate drizzle. Then, there’s the Bomboloni duo, which comes in two flavors: Limoncello and Nutella. The Limoncello doughnut is a raised shell dusted in powdered sugar with a tart lemon filling, and the Nutella flavor is a raised shell dusted in cinnamon sugar filled with chocolate hazelnut cream.

Of course VIVO Italian Kitchen has to get in on the fun, too. And, lucky me — they’re offering my very favorite Italian dessert, an affogato. This traditional treat is simply a scoop of vanilla bean gelato topped with espresso (poured on tableside), with a ladyfinger biscuit on the side. Folks ages 21 and up have the option to add a shot of Amaretto or Kahlua. The classic affogato will give you the extra zip you need to keep cheering on Team USA.

FOOTBALL FAVORITES

Garlic Chicken Wings at NBC Sports Grill and Brew.

Super Bowl LX on NBC and Peacock is about so many beautiful things: dips, wings, various potato preparations, deep-fried vegetables of all stripes….oh, right, and football, too. Bring your pals to CityWalk on February 8 to watch the game at NBC Sports Grill and Brew, or on the jumbotron at 5 Towers Stage, and to dig in on these delicious day-of deals.

With the game airing on NBC and Peacock, where better to watch than NBC Sports Grill and Brew? The sports bar always serves the classic pub grub essential to football Sundays. And on game day itself, they’re serving up an all-new flavor of wings: garlic parmesan, available in either boneless or bone-in variety. Drooling already.

A doughnut shaped and decorated like the Vince Lombardi Trophy at Voodoo Doughnut.

If you’re in the mood for something sweeter — but still on-theme, of course — hop over to Voodoo Doughnut. They’ll have the limited-time Champion Doughnut, a raised shell filled with chocolate Bavarian cream and topped with silver sprinkles to represent the Vince Lombardi trophy. Leave it to Voodoo to make dessert art.

And over at Margaritaville, fans over 21 can take advantage of an all-day happy hour. That includes specials on margaritas, beer and wine, as well as $10 food specials on some oh-so-Margaritaville dishes, including buffalo wings, Volcano Nachos, coconut shrimp, Lava Lava Shrimp tacos, Cheeseburger in Paradise tacos, and fried pickles. OK wait, I think I might actually love football now?

ALL-STAR SNACKS

Triple Double burger at NBC Sports Grill and Brew.

Los Angeles is about to be inundated with lots of very tall men: The NBA All-Star Game is coming to town! And with celebrations happening all weekend long, it’s about so much more than the game itself. Head to CityWalk from February 13–15 to watch the game at NBC Sports Grill and Brew, or on the jumbotron at 5 Towers Stage, and to get your hands on some fun-themed eats.

At NBC Sports Grill and Brew, make sure you order a shareable Slam Dunk Bread for the table. This toasty sourdough loaf comes with a ball of melty honey butter in the middle — that’s what I call a swish! And you can’t go wrong with the Triple Double Burger, made up of three beef smash patties, caramelized onions, American and cheddar cheese and in-house signature Champ Sauce, all on a brioche bun. It’s as delicious as making a half-court buzzer shot.

Red and blue NBA All-Star Game doughnuts at Voodoo Doughnut.

And Voodoo Doughnut couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ball out over NBA All-Star Weekend. Pick up a Full Court Cherry Doughnut, a raised bar doughnut with vanilla icing and packed with cherry filling. Or there’s the Star Player Doughnut, which is a raised shell topped with vanilla icing, filled with whipped apple cinnamon cream. And don’t be a ball hog — pick up a baker’s dozen for your crew while you’re there.
