On this next episode of Ride Guys, prepare yourself for a double feature. That’s right! This time we’ve got two rides in one for the ultimate thrill at Universal Volcano Bay. These slides take bravery to a whole new level on Ko’Okiri Body Plunge and Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides.
I, myself, am slightly too scared to go on these attractions but I do love tapping into Krakatau Aqua Coaster (watch the Ride Guys episode on that attraction here) and sitting in the The Reef as I wait for my husband to climb to the top and slide back down. The Reef is the calm pool right next to the main area of Waturi Beach in front of the volcano.
The first slide, Ko’Okiri Body Plunge, sits at the very top (125 feet to be exact) of the volcano and features a 70-degree fall through a drop door.
The second slides are Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine body slides. These snake-like slides also have drop doors and are similar to Ko’Okiri Body Plunge. But on Kala and Tai Nui you can join in some friendly competition with the person dropping at the same time as you.
