- Universal Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) is returning to Universal Studios Hollywood in 2026. The event will run on select nights from September 3 to November 1, 2026.
- HHN is a separately ticketed event that includes haunted houses, the Terror Tram, scare zones, shows, themed food and beverages, and more. This year’s haunted houses will include a combination of original content houses and houses based on existing IPs, including “Sinners.”

That’s right! Universal Studios Hollywood’s marquee spooky season event is back for yet another year of screams, jump-scares, and fear-induced manic laughter. During select nights for about two months, the theme park will transform into a playground of nightmares: immersive haunted houses, shriek-filled scare zones, gory spectacles and more shocking thrills. This year, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 will run on select nights from September 3 to November 1, 2026. The event will begin at 7 p.m. each night.
Where can I buy Halloween Horror Nights 2026 tickets?
If you’re gung-ho for HHN ‘26 like me, you’re in luck — tickets for this year’s event are already on sale. There are several ticketing options available, depending on how you want to do HHN. Options include: one-night General Admission, 2 p.m. Day/Night, Frequent Fear Passes, Ultimate Fear Passes, Universal Express and Universal Express Unlimited, and the R.I.P. Tour. Early Access Tickets are also available.

Sinners
In 1930s Mississippi, libations flow freely and guitar screams fill the air at the Smokestack Twins’ juke joint. But the blues become red when Remmick’s troop of bloodthirsty vampires crash the party — and test blood’s true bonds — as you brave this terrifying haunted house based on the award-winning original horror film, “Sinners.”
Stranger Things 5
The Upside Down is invading Hawkins, and this time no one’s safe. In this haunted house based on the final season of “Stranger Things,” join the gang in Hawkins for one last adventure as you try to survive Demogorgons and the Mind Flayer. Will you defeat Vecna once and for all?
Hellraiser
Enter a realm of pure pain in a haunted house based on the original “Hellraiser” trilogy. You’ll journey through the depths of Hell and bear witness to Pinhead and the Cenobites’ nightmarish rituals. Then hope you don’t get trapped in your own.
Evil Dead Burn
The Book of the Dead has been reopened, and now an infernal force consumes a family home. In this haunted house based on the new film, “Evil Dead Burn,” dodge possessed Deadites hell-bent on bloodshed — and encounter not just the root of evil, but the whole family tree.
Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness
Ozzy Osbourne’s shocking image was as haunting as his heavy metal hits. Now you’ll enter the Prince of Darkness’s kingdom where music and mayhem collide — and everything’s gone off the rails. Veer through a decaying world ripped straight from Ozzy’s lyrics in this haunted house inspired by one of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest legends. Let the madness begin!
Killer Klownz from Outer Space
If ever there’s a reason to be afraid of Klowns, this is it. The Killer Klowns from Outer Space have landed in this haunted house. And the joke’s on you if you get trapped in their cotton candy cocoons — becoming a gooey, gruesome snack.
Dead, Deader, Deadest
Ambrotox claims to restore the deceased’s features without the process of embalming. But when the miracle drug backfires, a century’s worth of corpses rise from their graves dead set on terrorizing the living. In this haunted house, stare death in its decaying face and unearth the dark secrets that lie within the Deville Family Funeral Home.
Killceañera: Music by Slash
In this haunted house featuring music by Slash, you’re invited to Lola’s quinceañera — where she’s summoned vengeful ghosts and malevolent spirits to help exact her monstrous revenge on school bullies. Face legendary creatures from Latin American folklore as they help Lola snuff out her birthday candles one by one.
Terror Tram Starring Art the Clown
Art the Clown arrives on the Universal Studios Backlot with his blood-soaked bag of presents in tow. But when he realizes he’s too early for Christmas, he hijacks the Terror Tram to start a ho-ho-horrific holiday tradition all his own.
