We all remember our first ice-cold Butterbeer and the foamy stache that came with it. It feels like just yesterday when I tried mine, and during Butterbeer Season, we’ll literally get to relive that feeling every day. Believe it or not, there’s more to Butterbeer than a stein full of cold and utterly iconic goodness, and this season, we’re pulling out all the stops that you can’t miss.
Gold Butterbeer Stein
Before we jump into our all-new, Butterbeer-flavored treats, I can’t go without mentioning our newest means of serving ice-cold Butterbeer: the Gold Butterbeer Stein. This shiny, limited-edition mug brings an elegant flair to a timeless, beloved drink, and it is arguably the most decadent way to enjoy Butterbeer. This Butterbeer Season-exclusive is a must-have for all the “Harry Potter” fans out there.
Butterbeer Cream Puff
You’ve relished the taste of Butterbeer cold, hot, frozen and even dairy-free, but never in a fluffy, cream-filled treat. And who doesn’t love a cream puff? The Butterbeer Cream Puff is a new dessert debuting exclusively during Butterbeer Season in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Stuffed with a delectable cookie and Butterbeer filling, this pastry comes with a whipped Butterbeer foam and a rich, creamy Butterbeer syrup. Did I mention there’s Butterbeer? For my readers in Orlando, you can grab a Butterbeer Cream Puff from Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade or Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley. Visitors in Hollywood can indulge in every bite in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Three Broomsticks as well.
Butterbeer Confections
This Butterbeer Season, caramel just got a whole lot tastier. I know what you’re thinking: Butterbeer and caramel? Exactly that! The Butterbeer Caramel is available exclusively during Butterbeer Season. Find it at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley while in Orlando, and head to Honeydukes in Hollywood during your time on the West Coast.
During Butterbeer Season, there’s no such thing as too much Butterbeer. With that in mind, you must try Universal’s newest confection: the Butterbeer-Flavoured Chocolate Bar.
There are multiple places within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort to purchase the Butterbeer-Flavoured Chocolate Bar, including Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods and Honeydukes in Hogsmeade, as well as Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment in Diagon Alley. It will also be available in Hollywood at Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods and Honeydukes.
Butterbeer Ice Lolly
It’s back, it’s better than ever, and it’s here to stay — for good this time! Here for another year of Butterbeer Season fun is the Butterbeer Ice Lolly, a chilly treat perfect for beating the heat. Let the sweet taste of frozen Butterbeer satisfy all the cravings you’ve had for it in its absence. Get it now, and get it again when you come back because this frozen treat can finally be enjoyed year-round.
Enjoy Butterbeer All Year Long
Butterbeer Season may come and go, but there are plenty of offerings that are here to stay! Grow a foamy stache from a fresh glass of Butterbeer no matter what time of year it is.
In Orlando, you can get a cold or frozen Butterbeer from Three Broomsticks, Hog’s Head pub and Butterbeer street carts in Hogsmeade, as well as from Leaky Cauldron and The Hopping Pot in Diagon Alley. If you find yourself craving a hot Butterbeer, however, only Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron will get the job done.
Similarly in Hollywood, cold and frozen Butterbeer can be found all around The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Three Broomsticks and Hog’s Head, as well as a variety of Butterbeer street carts. Though, only the first two spots are serving up hot Butterbeer, so plan accordingly!
Always on the menu are tasty finds like Butterbeer Soft Serve Ice-Cream available at Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour in both Orlando and Hollywood (located inside Honeydukes), as well as Butterbeer Potted Cream and Butterbeer Ice Cream at Three Broomsticks in both locations.
