No longer Orlando’s best kept secret, Velvet Sessions at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort is here to kick start your weekend and close out your month on a high note.
Orlando’s only rock ‘n roll cocktail party is looking cooler than ever in 2016 with performances from music legends both past and present.
The lobby concert series occurs on the last Thursday of every month, except for November and December. Its performances are coupled with carefully crafted cocktails and imaginative small bites that will make you wanna sing from the mountain tops!
Elevate Your Night Out
Queen Beyonce said it best by singing “Let me upgrade ya”. Do just that: upgrade to VIP. Not only does VIP scream “Look out, I’m a rock star!” but it also gives you access to a private bar and a special viewing area that overlooks the entire lower lobby.
One of a Kind Sessions
In October, Orlando’s rock ‘n’ roll cocktail party becomes a special adults-only Halloween costume party, complete with a popular costume contest and a chance to win a hotel stay.

Got lucky enough several years back to do the VIP at Velvet Sessions and see and shake the hand of Eddie Money.Everyone needs to do the Velvet thang.
