One of the best things about Universal Orlando Resort is the opportunity you have to be a part of your favorite stories. You get to join in on the action whether you’re experiencing the dangerous beauty of Jurassic Park or fighting Bellatrix and Voldemort on Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.
My Universal Photos is the perfect way to take the memories of those fantastic experiences home with you. Our on-ride cameras, professional photographers, and selfie stations all automatically upload your pics to the Amazing Pictures App so you can keep them forever.
Want to make your friends jealous? Then take a look at five of my favorite locations to use your My Universal Photos package.
After defeating the Decepticons on TRANSFORMERS: The Ride 3-D in Universal Studios Florida, you can meet and take your photo with your favorite Transformers live and in-person!
Channel your inner Freedom Fighter with Optimus Prime, jam along with Bumblebee, or bow in front of the mighty Megatron. Be careful, though! The powerful Decepticon might just scare you when you least expect it.
2. Capture Your Grand Entrance
There’s nothing quite like the feeling when you first visit Universal Orlando and walk through the gates into the parks. You’ll want to hold onto that memory after your vacation ends, so why not get the perfect memento?
My Universal Photos captures that moment at the front of both parks. Over at Universal Studios you can join in on the movie magic, or start your adventure in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
After you’ve successfully returned E.T. to the Green Planet and helped him save his home, E.T.’s Toy Closet & Photo Spot allows you to go home with the perfect souvenir.
There are two photo ops in this store and one is just as adorable and nostalgic as the other. You can either hop on a flying bicycle with E.T. in your basket or get cozy with the lovable alien in Elliott’s closet as he plays dress-up. They also add a special, extra-terrestrial touch to your photos.
4. Back to the Future Automated Photo Capture in KidZone
Fans of the iconic trilogy won’t be able to resist grabbing a photo with the DeLorean time machine. Just scan your My Universal Photos card at the kiosk, stand next to the car, strike your best pose, and let our automated cameras do the work. It’s so simple, even Biff could do it!
Another famous car with its own selfie station can also be found over in Jurassic Park in Universal’s Island of Adventure. Take a pic with one of the green and yellow vehicles from the film…and a giant T-Rex looking for its next meal.
5. Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts In-Queue Photo Op
If you’re going to open an account at Gringotts, the wizarding bank run by goblins in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, you’ll need an ID. As you make your way through the bank towards the mine carts, you’ll encounter some Gringotts employees ready to snap your photo. To receive your ID, head to the photo kiosks after you exit your mine cart. You can also download or purchase your photo at any time through your My Universal Photos account.
Grab a park-to-park ticket and take the Hogwarts Express over to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade. Here, you can take an unforgettable adventure with Harry Potter and his friends on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. To help recount the journey for your friends back home, you can purchase a picture of you and your friends attempting to escape the fiery breath of the Hungarian Horntail.
These are just a few of the many different photo opportunities My Universal Photos grants you. I also recommend checking out your pics from The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Islands of Adventure and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit for those fearless enough to brave the biggest thrills. Universal’s Volcano Bay even has its own array of ride photos and selfie stations so you can take home a slice of island paradise. Here’s a list of participating locations in all three parks.
From silly moments to scary moments and everything in between, My Universal Photos is there to capture it all. Click here to find out how to purchase a photo package online and learn all you need to know about capturing your vacation memories.
