Anyone who’s spent more than 15 seconds with me has seen a photo of my dog. He’s the background of my phone, the light of my life — and he’s definitely my biggest fan. All of this is to say, my love for canines gives me a whole lot in common with a certain 10-year-old character from the “Gabby’s Dollhouse” universe. While Gabby is famously a cat-lover, Doozie (Gabby’s little sister) is all about pups. And she’s getting her very own series: “Doozie’s Doghouse” is coming to Netflix on November 9! To celebrate, Universal Kids Resort is hosting a weekend of Doozie-themed fun.
If you and your kids are as dog-crazy as I am, you’ll want to visit Universal Kids Resort when Doozie’s in town. Here’s what you need to know:
- From October 23 to 25, 2026, Universal Kids Resort is throwing an event themed to “Doozie’s Doghouse.” This is a brand-new series from the world of “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” which premieres on Netflix on November 9, 2026.
- During the event, guests can meet and take photos with Doozie herself. The character will not remain at Universal Kids Resort after this weekend-long event.
- The event also includes crafting, a self-guided scavenger hunt, a themed menu item and more, all in celebration of “Doozie’s Doghouse.”

“Doozie’s Doghouse” at Universal Kids Resort
If you’re staying at Universal Kids Resort on Friday, October 23, the fun starts early for you! Guests of the hotel can partake in the Doozie Pool Party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This is a chance for kids to get the wiggles out and splash around with family and other fans of the “Gabby’s Dollhouse” universe.
The in-park fun runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026. Most of the events center around Isle of Curiosity, much of which is themed to “Gabby’s Dollhouse” year-round, but some of the party will take you over to other DreamWorks themed lands. Here’s what you can expect from it:
- Doozie Meet & Greet: The only thing better than cuddling a puppy is getting to meet Doozie in-person! The Doozie character will be posted up outside of the Universal Kids Resort Theater, which is inside DreamWorks’ TrollsFest. Remember, this is a temporary stint at Universal Kids Resort for Doozie — she’s a very busy gal! — so if you want to meet her, this is your big shot.
- Exclusive Sneak Peek of “Doozie’s Doghouse” series: Inside the Universal Kids Resort Theater, guests have an opportunity to see an exclusive clip from the new “Doozie’s Doghouse” show. No photos or recording is allowed in there — meaning once you see the sneak peek, you’ll be extra in-the-know.
- Doozie-themed crafting: Check out the Tactical Crafting Stations in Isle of Curiosity to make some arf — I mean, art! Each station is accompanied with Play Ambassadors who can help your kids bring the canine crafts of their imagination to life.
- Dancing and Games: Isle of Curiosity is also where you can find the dance and interactive game zones themed to Doozie’s Doghouse. Get ready to wiggle those tails!
- Puppy Patch Scavenger Hunt: Get your noses ready for mystery-solving! The Puppet Patch Scavenger Hunt will have you on the scent all throughout the DreamWorks-themed lands in the theme park. Find a Play Ambassador to get started on this self-guided scavenger hunt.
- Limited-time Doozie-themed treat: For this weekend only, guests can indulge in a Doozie’s Doghouse-themed cupcake, sold at Cakey’s Cupcakes in Isle of Curiosity. The cute little camper trailer is themed to “Gabby’s Dollhouse” year-round, so it’s the perfect place for a Doozie-themed snack, too.
Remember, this is a limited-time event. So if you want to meet Doozie before she gets famous, head to Universal Kids Resort from October 23 to 25!
