10 Things You HAVE to Do at Universal Islands of Adventure

Universal's Islands of Adventure

EDITOR’S NOTE: This blog was originally published in December of 2017 and then underwent extensive updates and editing in the summer of 2021 to remain current and relevant.

Universal Islands of Adventure really is the “choose your own adventure” of theme parks. It has eight themed islands with out-of-this-world attractions featuring some of your favorite characters and stories. From discovering the not-so-extinct dinosaurs over in Jurassic Park to teaming up with your favorite super heroes in Marvel Super Hero Island, you’re going to want to lock in a couple of days to do it all during your Universal Orlando Resort vacation. And we haven’t even touched on all there is to explore in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter yet.

With so many options, what attractions would you regret skipping? Obviously, all of them. BUT here are the 10 you absolutely have to add to your must-do list.

In The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, join Hagrid on an epic journey as you fly beyond the grounds of Hogwarts castle and cross paths with an array of magical creatures. Make sure to decide which seat you want to ride on ahead of time — are you riding sidecar or the motorcycle?
